The preservation and sustainable use of natural resources is a fundamental element
our company philosophy.
Wood with origin
By purchasing our logs from the Bavarian State Forests or similar organizations, we are fully aware of the origin of the wood and the sustainable management of our local forests. We have been FSC® certified for decades.
heating system
In our combined heat and power plant with over 1,000 kW of heating capacity, we burn the sawdust generated during production, thus independently heating our production facilities and offices. The resulting waste heat is also used to dry various wooden components.
solar energy
Thanks to a large-scale PV system, we produce a large portion of the electricity we need ourselves. Our future plans include expanding the existing system to double its capacity in order to become virtually independent of any utility provider.
Fuhrpark
A large portion of our company fleet already consists of electric and hybrid vehicles. From forklifts and work machines to cars, we refuel with solar energy here...
Highly efficient machines
By using highly efficient machines such as the latest generation of screw compressors, we keep electrical energy consumption as low as possible.
lighting
Our entire indoor and outdoor lighting system has been replaced or converted with energy-saving LED spotlights.
Heat recovery
The waste heat generated during production by various machines such as air compressors and drying systems is channeled back into the production rooms via a sophisticated ventilation system, thereby supporting the heating system.
Packaging
We produce the necessary packaging/filling material for padding shipping boxes or for protecting our items ourselves from discarded cardboard, thus giving old boxes a second life.
